About Us

Carbon Composites Ltd. was founded in 1992 with the main goal of developing and manufacturing carbon fiber reinforced plastics. Initially, we were producing surfboards and racing boats for World and European Cup competitors. From 1994, the company shifted its focus on automotive parts development production, and the product range changed, lightweight racing boats were replaced by fiber-reinforced vehicle components.

Our main partner at that time was Hungaro Lada, with the scope of external body parts. Later, Ikarus Bus Factory became our domestic partner, for whom we manufactured fiber-reinforced body parts using the EMS pressing process, and we made prototype and series-produced parts for NABI North American Bus Ltd..

The involvement of Austrian and German partners brought change to the company's life, thanks to whom our company started using polyurethane systems, and the large-scale export of automotive parts began. In line with the needs of our domestic customers, our company developed the infrastructure needed for parts design and modeling, enabling us to take on development functions as well.

By 2020, our company became a certified supplier to the Volkswagen Group through MAN Bus&Trucks, to whom we have been supplying parts in the order of 10,000 pieces per year for many years. Our partners include Diehl Aircabin, Daimler Minibus AG, and RedBull. For the railway industry, we manufacture fire-retardant seat shells as part of the MÁV IC+ project, and complete interiors for the Egyptioan National Railways. Our strategy is to serve the special needs of medical equipment manufacturing, military and defense industries alongside the automotive industry with our high-strength, lightweight, shaped geometry products.
